Adult Education Strives to Teach the Community Important Language Skills

Adults can learn English as a Second Language here at CCFC Monday – Thursday, from 8:15 – 11:15 a.m. A Pronunciation and Conversation Class is being offered in the afternoons from 12:00 – 2:30 Monday – Thursday. The Second semester begins Monday, February 8th. Registration for all classes will start January 25th and continue until classes are full. Our Adult Ed ESL Courses consist of a Beginning Literacy/Low Class  for students  who do not communicate in English or with very little vocabulary and  a Multi-Level Class for students who have basic knowledge of the English language. The Pronunciation and Conversation class is offered for students who have basic English skills and would like to reduce their accent, improve fluency, and grammar in everyday English Communication. The ESL Classes at CCFC are an excellent way for non English speaking adults to learn the concepts of the English Language.
